We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Marketing & Communications Campaign Partner to help tell the story of LCRHA and strengthen our collective influence.

Representing 23 housing associations, LCRHA works collaboratively to improve housing and community outcomes across the Liverpool City Region. Together, our members provide safe, affordable homes and invest in thriving communities, supporting thousands of residents every day.

As we enter an exciting new phase, we are seeking an experienced freelance communications specialist to lead a strategic programme of marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement activity, helping to raise the profile of both LCRHA and the wider housing sector.

The opportunity

This role offers the chance to shape and deliver impactful campaigns that showcase the difference housing associations make across the city region. We anticipate approximately two days per week for up to 24 months.

Working closely with LCRHA partners, you will:

  • Develop and deliver a strategic communications approach aligned to our developing Communications and Influencing Strategy.
  • Create compelling content across media, digital and stakeholder channels.
  • Build relationships with regional media and key influencers.
  • Coordinate campaigns around key policy issues, initiatives and events.
  • Strengthen the visibility and reputation of the LCRHA brand.
  • Measure impact and provide insight-led recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking a highly credible communications professional who can work strategically while remaining hands-on with delivery. Ideally, you’ll have experience in marketing, PR and campaign delivery within the housing, public or not-for-profit sectors, alongside strong storytelling, media relations and stakeholder engagement skills.

Knowledge of the Liverpool City Region and an established network of media or stakeholder contacts would be highly advantageous.

What success looks like

The successful partner will help deliver:

  • A two-year communications strategy and delivery roadmap
  • A stronger, more visible LCRHA brand.
  • Increased positive media coverage and stakeholder engagement.
  • Consistent messaging across all communications activity.
  • Increased influence in shaping conversations around housing and communities.
